Tony is a Managing Director with two decades of professional experience in the engineering and consulting industry. He has been involved in many major projects for large complex buildings such as offices, third level education, schools, mixed-use, airports, retail and shopping centres, atria, historic and industrial buildings located throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally.
He has worked as a site engineer and carried out inspections on a wide variety of building and construction projects providing fire risk assessment services and fire safety audits. He has also performed the role of an expert witness for a number of legal cases relating to building defects and is LETAPAEWE accredited at a level 7 (Masters level) BTEC.
He has formed and became part of the team which carried out research into fire safety in schools with atria and assisted the Department of Education and Skills in drafting their “Supplementary Guide for Design Teams - Fire Strategy in Schools”, which was published in 2014.
